Navneet Singhira’s actions against organized crime in Lucknow are still well-known. He was appointed SSP of Lucknow in 2004. His task was to liberate the capital from the grips of mafias and gangsters. He did it with flying colors, not to be misled.

Career

Navneet Singha has served as the commander of several districts police stations, including Lucknow. He is a crudely honest man.

His stint as SSP in Meerut was also memorable.

Recently, he was promoted to the rank as Additional Director General of Police (ADG).

In Lucknow, he had killed 22 criminals during a police encounter in 2004. He had actually made Lucknow completely free from organized crime, and Lucknow residents still remember him 16 years later.
The life of Naveen Sikera is the basis for a web series called Bhaukal. It was launched in 2020 and became a huge success. Bhaukal 2, the second season of this web series, was released on January 20, 2022 on MX Player. It has received a huge amount of views. It is the 2022 OTT series most viewed.
Navneet always wanted to be a software engineer. While studying at IIT Roorkey, Navneet had gone to a police station in order to file a complaint against unknown people. His father was receiving threatening phone calls. He was abused by his father and the SHO failed to file an FIR. He decided that he would become an IPS officer on the same day. He had passed UPSC CSE his first attempt, and was then allotted IPS because that was his first choice. He could also have been eligible for IAS.
