Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday work together with startups and deal with a world summit being organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, in keeping with the Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO).
The Prarambh: Startup India Worldwide Summit is being organised by the Division for Promotion of Trade and Inner Commerce of the Ministry of Commerce and Trade on January 15-16.
Prime Minister Modi will work together with startups and deal with the summit on January 16 at 5 PM through video conferencing, the PMO stated in a press release.
The 2-day summit is being organised as a follow-up of the announcement made by the prime minister on the fourth BIMSTEC Summit held in Kathmandu in August 2018 whereby India dedicated to host the BIMSTEC Startup Conclave.
The summit marks the fifth anniversary of the Startup India initiative, launched by the prime minister on January 16, 2016.
With participation from over 25 international locations and greater than 200 international audio system, the summit would be the largest startup confluence organised by the Authorities of India for the reason that launch of the Startup India initiative, the PMO stated.
It is going to witness 24 periods with give attention to enhancing multilateral cooperation and engagement with international locations from across the globe to collectively develop and strengthen the startup ecosystems, it stated.
