Safna Nazarudeen, 45 has been awarded the rank in 2019’s UPSC CSE. She is now an IAS officer. This was her first attempt at this rare success. She is also the only Muslim to be in the top 100 ranks of UPSC CSE 2019.

Safna Nazarudeen was always a diligent student. She has only recently thought of her dreams of becoming an officer in the civil service. After her graduation, she decided to pursue UPSC CSE instead of continuing with PG Economics. She succeeded in her first attempt.
